THIS HELMET IS SOLD WITHOUT THE INNER FOAM. IT IS ESSENTIAL TO PURCHASE YOUR OWN FOAM. YOU’LL FIND THE CORRESPONDING FOAM IN THE SIMILAR ITEMS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.
SIZES
Helmets come in a range of shell sizes (S, M or L) to fit the shape of your skull as closely as possible. You then need to choose your foam size, which will determine the final size of your helmet:
– Shell size S is for foam sizes 52 to 56
– Shell size M is for foam sizes 55 to 58
– Shell size L is for foam sizes 57 to 61

MATERIALS FOR OPTIMAL SAFETY
The outer shell of Shadowmatt is made of polycarbonate, a material used in top-of-the-range motorcycle helmets ( autres). It is coated with anti-scratch matte paint.
The inner shell is made of variable-density polystyrene, ensuring better dissipation of the energy produced in the event of impact.
STABILITY
The “shape memory” internal comfort pad (liner) guarantees constant thickness over years of use, and the semi-rigid chinstrap eliminates any risk of the helmet tipping over in the event of violent movement.
This internal comfort pad can be removed thanks to a clip system that is much more resistant than scratch/velcro.
It can therefore be washed at will, so you can always wear a clean, fresh-smelling helmet…
PERFECT SIZE ADJUSTMENT FOR UNEQUALLED COMFORT
An in-depth anthropomorphic study has led to the design of an inner shell shape generating unrivalled comfort.
3 shell sizes are available: S, M, L.
Each shell can accommodate 4 to 5 internal comfort pads of different sizes, for a perfect fit on the rider’s head.
The range of sizes offered goes from 52 to 61.
This system also makes it possible to support the growth of a young rider.
POWERFUL INTERNAL AIR FLOW
Equipped with a front air intake, the Shadowmatt helmet provides exceptional ventilation.
Fresh air is channeled from the front air intake to extractors located at the rear of the helmet, around the comfort pad, preventing perspiration.
This concept generates a powerful internal air flow, avoiding the need for visible and therefore unsightly air inlets: equestrian elegance is preserved without banishing technicality and comfort.
The Shadowmatt helmet is available in black, blue and brown.
The Shadowmatt helmet is available with the dressage chinstrap option: this allows women who wear a bun not to be bothered by the port helmet. The chinstrap is 2.5cm shorter to allow the bun to pass through.
